Design and construct an addition to Building 578 consisting of administrative, laboratory, training, high bay warehouse and storage areas. The construction shall include site improvements, utility connections and incidental related work.. Estimated Value: $1,000,000 -- $5,000,000. The Request for Proposal will require the submission of a technical management proposal. Award will be made based on the best value to the Government after evaluation of proposals in accordance with the evaluation criteria in the solicitation. Bids from large business firms must comply with FAR clause 52.219-9 regarding the requirement for submission of a subcontracting plan. The Fort Worth District subcontracting goals are for specified percentages of the contractor's total planned subcontract amount to be placed with the following: 61.2% with small business; 9.1% with small disadvantaged business, 4.5% with women-owned small business, and 5.5% with Historically Black Colleges and Universities and Minority Institutions (HBCU/MIs). Duration of Contract for all design and construction work is approximately 484 days. SIC Code is 1542. Small Business Size Standard is $17 million.
