The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command has a requirement for maintenance and repair services of the Joint Tactical Information Distribution Systems (JTIDS). The contractor shall furnish the services of engineer(s) knowledgeable on the Class 2, 2H terminals and LINK 16 Communication Systems (hardware, software, and firmware). The contractor will provide for all maintenance and operational support (including integration efforts), on-the-job instruction and training of, and assistance to, Government designated personnel in the planning and execution of installation/integration, testing, checkout, adjustment, disassembly, operation and Government operational testing of all Prime Mission Equipment (PME), Support Equipment (SE). The Acillary Engineering services shall be rendered within the Continental United States, including Alaska and Hawaii, and on United States Navy vessels in ports within the Continental United States or at sea, provided the vessel does not enter port outside the Continental United States. This contract will be awarded sole source to Data Link Solutions to allow for the continuity of services to continue. SPAWAR intends to negotiate only with Data Link Solutions, a limited liability Company composed of Rockwell Collins (CACD) and incumbent GEC-Marconi Hazeltine Corporation.
