E-MAIL: Ted Greiner, tgreiner@pica.army.mil. Sources sought for Product Information. The U.S. Government is looking for literature regarding a NDI Electronic Time Fuze for Mortar Ammunition. This is for informational purposes only, at no cost to the government. The fuze must be compatible with 60mm, 81mm and 120mm mortar cartridges. The fuze must meet the following performance requirements: a. Have time, proximity, point detonating and delay operational modes, b. Time set capability from 3 to 99.9 seconds in 0.1 second increments, c. Meet the safety requirements of Mil-Std-1316D, d. Have manual & inductive set capability, e. Have a 98% reliability @ a 90% confidence level, f. Ballistically matched with the M734A1 Multi option mortar fuze, g. Capable of being set at night w/o external illumination, h. Have an unlimited set/reset capability w/o degrading performance or safety, and i. Able to meet the requirements of MIL-STD-331B.
