Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center is seeking qualified sources
for the inspection and repair of two (2) each Ingersoll-Dresser
Centrifugal Pumps, NSN 4320-01-118-5087, Part Number D1211 1
1/2X1X6/Y61187G. Contractor will be required to provide all labor and
materials required to perform the following on each Pump inducted for
overhaul: (1) receive; (2) disassemble; (3) inspect; (4) provide a
detailed Inspection Report/Repair Estimate; (5) repair; (6) reassemble;
(7) test; and (8) preserve and install in a reusable container. All
repairs shall be made in accordance with Ingersoll-Dresser (OEM)
specifications and standards. All parts to be furnished and used with
the repairs must be genuine Ingersoll-Dresser parts. It is believed
that only Ingersoll-Dresser and/or their authorized repair facilities
can (1) obtain the necessary specifications and genuine OEM parts to
accomplish repairs; and (2) can furnish the required services and
ensure proper fit, form, and function of all its components. However,
other potential sources can submit information concerning their
capability to overhaul these Pumps. Concerns that respond to this
notice must fully demonstrate the capability by submitting the
following information: (1) Data that the offered parts have been
satisfactorily manufactured for the Government or the Original
Equipment Manufacturer which includes complete and current engineering
data to demonstrate the acceptability of the offered parts (i.e.,
salient physical, functional and serviceability characteristics; and
(2) Data that the required services have previously been provided to
the Government or the original equipment manufacturer. This information
must be submitted to this Procurement Office no later than fifteen (15)
calendar days after the date this notice is published. When calling be

Numbered Notes 22 and 26. This synopsis is issued pursuant to FAR
5.207(e)(3) and TAM 1205.207. The following Note is for informational
purposes for Minority, Women-Owned, and Disadvantaged Business
Enterprises: The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of
Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), has a program to
assist minority, women-ownd, and disadvantaged business enterprises to
acquire short-term working capital assistance for
transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT
Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide
accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
