180M0809, used on Paxman RP200 Diesel Engines, part number 30539. These
Fuel Injection Pumps are used on the 110' Coast Guard vessels.
Contractor will be required to provide all labor and materials required
to perform the following on each Fuel Injection Pump: (1) receive; (2)
disassemble; (3) inspect; (4) provide a detailed Inspection
Report/Repair Estimate; (5) repair/exchange; (6) reassemble; (7) test;
and (8) preserve and install in a resusable container. Overhaul shall
be accomplished in accordance with current Lucas Bryce specifications
and standards and Coast Guard Specification Number 82323-8010. All
parts to be furnished and used with the repairs must be genuine Lucas
Bryce parts. Due to the extreme lead time for replacement components,
the solicitation will include a requirement that the Contractor offer
an exchange program for unrepairable Fuel Injection Pumps. The
Government does not possess copies of the manufacturer's drawings,
technical or engineering specifications. All responsible sources have
been given the opportunity to submit information describing their
capabilities in supplying the required services in Issue No. PSA-1955
dated 21 October 1997. The Government intends to solicit only Lucas
Bryce or their authorized repair facilities. It is intended to award a
requirements-type contract with one (1) Base Year and two (2) Option
Years. Delivery will depend on the issue date of individual delivery
orders. Delivery to be made to the U.S. Coast Guard Engineering
Logistics Center, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, MD 21226-5000.

for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned, and Disadvantaged
Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of
Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), has a program to
assist minority, women-owned, and disadvantaged business enterprises
to acquire short-term working capital assistance for
transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT
Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide
accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
