Air Data Transducer (ATU) SOL N00421-98-Q-1023 DUE 010598 POC Jennifer Trossbach, Contract Specialist, (301)757-9074 The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, intends to procure 20 Air Data Transducers (ATUs) (Computer Instruments Corporation Part Number 02884-1) for the Pioneer Unmanned Air Vehicle (UAV) Program which currently supports the Navy and Marine Corps by providing logistic support to the fleet users. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis with Computer Instruments Corporation, 1000 Shames Drive, Westbury, New York 11590. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is FAR 6.302-1; only one responsible source and no other supplies or service will satisfy agency requirements. Computer Instruments Corporation is the only authorized manufacturer of the ATUs by the original equipment manufacturer for the Pioneer Unmanned Air Vehicle (UAV) program.
