This procurement is for the modification of semi-rigid RF cables and specialized power splitters. The prospective contractor shall define, design and qualify the modifications, and establish the modified products and process baselines. The contractor shall then fabricate, assemble, and conduct pre-production acceptance testing. Additionally, the contractor must also conduct Nuclear Hardness and Survivability (NH&S) testing on the pre-production units to determine if produced units meet stringent NH&S requirements. If pre-production units are deemed acceptable, the government may exercise Option I to enable the prospective contractor to maintain the production process baseline, and subsequently fabricate, assemble, test and deliver production units. Production units shall be subject to individual acceptance testing, and the RF cables shall be subject to Production Lot Sampling (PLS) tests.
