Gills, Contract Specialist, 404-624-6218 and David Sullivan, Contract Officer, 404-624-6203 This Job Order Contract (JOC) is for a broad range of maintenance, repair, and minor construction work on real property for the Georgia National Guard. The Air Guard Units will be located at the 116th Bomb Wing, Warner Robins, Georgia, 165th Airlift Wing, Savannah, Georgia, Combat Readiness Training Center (CRTC) Savannah, Georgia, and Dobbins Air Reserve Base in Marietta, Georgia. This contract will also include the Geographical Support Units (GSU) that are serviced by the Georgia Air National Guard Bases. The Army Guard Units will be located at Hunter Army Airfield, Savannah, Georgia, Fort Stewart, Savannah, Georgia and Dobbins Air Reserve Base. The contract will be an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity type contract. Delivery orders will be based on individual projects. Contract performance will be a twelve month period from notice to proceed with four (4) twelve month option periods. Individual delivery orders will not exceed $300,000 and the total cumulative amounts of the basic contract plus options will not exceed $5,000,000. The minimum guaranteed value of the contract is $5,000. Construction may include demolition, painting, asphalt and concrete paving, concrete work, masonry walls, structural steel, metal roof deck, insulated flexible sheet or built-up roofing, waterproofing, roof accessories, architectural woodwork, hollow metal doors and frames, operable partitions, storefronts and windows, plumbing, wooden doors, overhead coiling doors, fire protection, HVAC, electrical systems, and lighting. Interested firms will submit a coefficient that will be used as a multiplier against the R.S. Means Book identified in the solicitation. The coefficient is defined as a numerical factor that represents costs, generally indirect costs, not considered to be included in the R.S. Means Book, and shall include all costs associated with bonding. All offeror's are required to use the R.S. Means Facility Construction Cost Data Book in developing coefficients. The Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be available on or about 11 Dec 1997 with bid opening on or about 13 Jan 1998. The bid opening will be held at the United States Property and Fiscal Office in Atlanta, Georgia, Bldg 21. The SIC Code is 1542, size standard $17.0 million. Phone request will not be honored.
