Flemming, Contracting Officer, (202) 366-9564 The objective of this procurement is to obtain necessary personnel, materials, equipment and services to perform compliance testing to determine conformance to the requirements of the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 121, "Air Brake Systems." Bidder must have the necessary materials and equipment capable of meeting the testing requirements as specified by the Laboratory Test Procedure TP-121V-03. The Government may require a demonstration test at the offeror's expense prior to award using the test facilities, materials, personnel and equipment that the offeror proposes to use in the performance of this work. A twelve (12) month period of performance is contemplated. Manufactures of vehicles and/or components to be tested are not eligible for award.
