AFSOC is soliciting information from public and private sector
organizations on a radio frequency countermeasure device that can be
towed from SOF aircraft via fiber optic link. NDII/COTS towed devices
are preferred. Firms must demonstrate, through analysis or test, that
candiidate devices are able to provide adequate effectiveness to
protect large radar cross section aircraft such as a C-130, and future
CV-22 aircraft. Firms must offer employees with a minimum Secret
security clearance and a DIS certified facility to store classified
material. Firms should have capability to analyze and model towed
device effectiveness and be capable to design, develop any necessary
hardware/software to integrate the towed device as part of a
distributed architecture using existing countermeasure suites on
AC/MC-130 aircraft and CV-22. Respondents to this RFI/market survey
should provide technical data. Firms are encouraged to provide actual
test data. All corporate and proprietary information should be so
marked and will be fully protected to the extent allowed. Responses to
