The 38 Logistics Squadron is seeking to locate and have discussions with companies or firms that are interested or desire to install and operate telecommunications demarcation points (minimum point (s) of presence) to service telephone and data requirements in support of Tinker AFB, OK (Oklahoma City) and its support units. A reasonable number of demarcations may be authorized by Tinker AFB and may be installed by companies desiring presence (at no cost to the Government). The demarcations will be used to supply or provide for telecommunication services, but in particular, for local dial tone communications and terminal switched access services. Interested firms must respond not later than 31 Jan 98. Interested companies must either execute appropriate interconnection agreements with established carriers; or alternatively, obtain approval and complete installation of a physical demarcation not later than 30 Sep 1998, to be eligible or considered responsive under a pending competitive solicitation for these services in late 98.
