Selection Criteria shall include, in order of importance: (1) Previous
experience in the design and development of plans, specifications and
cost estimates of all trades for the design of sewage force mains,
pumping stations and leaching pools; (2) specialized experience and use
of qualified personnel in the design of sewage collection and disposal
systems; (3) knowledge and experience in design compliance with local
(Great Neck/Kings Point) and New York State Department of
Environmental Conservation regulations and permit requirements and
obtaining such permits; (4) past performance on contracts with
Government agencies and private industry in terms of cost control,
quality of work, and compliance with performance schedules; (5)
organization and management including training, education and
professional background; (6) directly related previous experience; (7)
familiarity with the local area; (8) location in the general
geographic area of the project, provided that the application of this
criterionleaves an appropriate number of firms given the nature and
size of this project; (9) capability to accomplish the design within a
3 month period. This action is 100% set-aside for small businesses.
The applicable standard industrial classification code is 8711 and the
applicable size standard is $2.5 million. Interested qualified sources
which meet the requirements described in this announcement are invited
to submit a Standard Form 254 Architect-Engineer and Related
Questionnaire and a Standard Form 255 Architect-Engineer and Related
Services Questionnaire for Specific Project (for the prime and each
consultant), postmarked or delivered within 30 days from the date of
this announcement. Be sure to indicate in block 4 of the SF 254 the
size/type of your business. Inquiries regarding status of this
selection during the next 90 days are discouraged. This is not a
