Brumfiel, Contracting Officer, (757) 628-4635 Provide all labor, material and equipment necessary to perform drydock repairs to the USCGC KODIAK ISLAND (WPB-1341) including but not limited to the following minimum items: (1) Renew potable water tank bulkhead plating, (2) Renew watertight/weathertight doors and hatch, (3) Fabricate and install bronze sleeves in various shaft packing areas, (4) Remove, inspect, and reinstall propeller shafts, (5) Renew water-lubricated shaft bearings, (6) Remove and reinstall propellers, (7) Inspect and repack MDE exhaust flapper valves and MDE exhaust piping, (8) Install tank and compartment vent goosenecks and inverted check valves, (9) Overhaul, renew, and test valves, (10) Inspect and overhaul duplex sea strainers, (11) Remove and dispose of diesel fuel up to 5,000 gallons, (12) Clean and inspect tanks, (13) Remove and reinstall rudders, (14) Overhaul stabilizing fins, (15) Hydroblast sewage and grey water piping, (16) Preserve underwater body, condition A, entire u/w body, (17) Clean and inspect sewage and greywater collection and holding tanks, (18) Preserve and disinfect potable water tanks, preserve 3-14-1-W, (19) Preserve 3-14-2-W, (20) Inspect and maintain cathodic protection system, (21) Renew AFT berthing floating deck panels, (22) Renew bulkhead 28 insulation, (23) Provide temporary messing, (24) Provide temporary berthing, (25) Renew hot water heater and inspect galley deck, (26) Provide temporary logistics, (27) Routine drydocking. Performance period is scheduled for 42 calendar days. Vessel is not restricted.
