CBD NOTICE OF SOLICITATIONS ON THE WEB Beginning 1 Dec 97, the Tank Automotive Command (TACOM) Acquisition Center in Warren, MI and the Tank Automotive Command-Armament, Chemical, Acquisition and Logistics Activity (TACOM-ACALA) Acquisition Center in Rock Island, IL will post Solicitation/amendments for public access on their respective Internet Home Pages. Internet addresses for the Acquisition Center locations are: http://www-acala1.ria.army.mil/ACALA/acq.html (TACOM-ACALA) http://www.tacom.army.mil/Acq-Cen (TACOM-WARREN) This is the first step in discontinuing paper distribution for solicitations/amendments. We urge contractors wishing to continue to do business with either TACOM, Warren, MI or TACOM-ACALA, Rock Island, IL to register with the Central Contractors Registration (CCR). Links to the CCR registration process are available at both of the above Web sites. The deadline for registering with the CCR is 31 Mar 98.
