to issue on or about 12/15/97. This solicitation is a standing
solicitation for Federal Supply Schedule FSC Group 56, Part IV, Section
A, from which the Government contemplates award of contracts for
supplies listed in the Schedule of Items covering 22 Special Item
Numbers. Resulting contracts will be FOB DESTINATION, 48 contiguous
United States and Washington D.C. for Special Item Numbers 563-1,
563-2, 563-3D, 563-4, 563-8, 563-10B, 563-15, 563-16, 563-17, 563-18A,
563-26, 563-98 and 563-99. Resulting contracts will be FOB DESTINATION
BY ZONE, 48 contiguous United States and Washington D.C. for Special
Item Numbers 563-6, 563-7, 563-19, 563-20, 563-21, 563-22, 563-23,
563-24, and 563-25. The scope of contract provision is expanded to
provide for International delivery of products for all Special Item
Numbers of the Solicitation. FOB DESTINATION terms shall apply to all
Special Items Numbers for delivery of products to locations outside the
domestic scope of the Solicitation. A personal point of contact within
each International Geographical Area is mandatory in order to provide
authorized agencies and activities with pricing, ordering, technical
information and other information regarding schedule products. This
solicitation will remain in effect unless amended and/or replaced by an
updated solicitation. There is no closing date for receipt of offers;
therefore, offers may be submitted for consideration at any time during
the life of this solicitation. Effective immediately, this Federal
Supply Schedule period will be continuous, and will contain contracts
with periods that commence on the date of award (DOA) and expire five
years (exclusive of any options) from the DOA. In addition the Multiple
Award Schedule solicitations will become "standing" opportunities for
new offers. This means that new offers may be forwarded to the
Contracting Officer, at the address above, at any time. Under this
solicitation, offers will be accepted for brands identical to those
currently awarded. Allcontracts under this Multiple Award Schedule
Solicitation will include an option to extend the term of the contract.
Contracts awarded under this solicitation will be in effect for five
years from date of award, unless further extended pursuant to any
Option to Extend the Term of the Contract, or canceled sooner. All
contracts will be indefinite delivery -- indefinite quantity contracts
with $100 guaranteed minimum for the contract period. The solicitation

Various clauses including Clause I-FSS-599, Electronic Commerce --
Federal Acquisition Network (FACNET), which implements GSA Advantage
(GSA's On-Line Shopping Program) are included. Also included is Clause
I-FSS-125, Requirements Exceeding the Maximum Order, and related
clauses which implement the maximum order provisions. These provisions
allow customer agencies to seek price decreases based on requirements
which exceed the maximum order established on any resultant contracts.
To assist the customer agencies to determine when they should seek a
price decrease, a level called a maximum order will be established
under each contract. When an agency order exceeds this amount, it is
required that the agency contact the vendor for a reduced price. The
vendors will not be obligated to accept these orders in accordance with
FAR 52.216-19 (Var III). All contracts to be awarded include Industrial
Funding Fee provisions. See Note 2 (PORTION OF ACQUISITION SET-ASIDE
FOR SMALL OR SMALL DISADVANTAGED BUSINESS CONCERN) SPECIAL ITEM NUMBERS
