FISC San Diego is announcing a requirement for the following: On-site, full service maintenance and repair of government owned equipment. Sources are being sought to bid on a this type repair and maintenance for the following type of equipment: (1) Westinghouse Electric Corp., type: HG-6KG/2300 Volt/1750 HP Synchronous Motor, and all associated control circuitry that includes: Starting relay, Running relay, DC excitation, Timing relay, and switch gear. (2) Westinghouse Electric Corp., 1250 KW/600 Volt DC generator and Westinghouse 1500 HP/600 Volt DC Variable Speed Vertical Motor and all associated circuitry that includes: AEG Mey Rapid 2000 High Speed circuit breaker, Current controller, Ramp function generator, Current limit, Zero Voltage Detector, Servo Controller/Motor follower, Velocity controller, Jog controller, Speed setting control, Motor field current regulator, Forward/reverse control, Annunciation panel, Power Amplifier, Gating amplifier, Current sensor, Voltage sensor, Power supplies, and Tachometer system. (3) Westinghouse Electric Corp., 9.4 KVA/480 volt, AC emergency Synchronous Generator, Style: 61P605 and all related control and switching circuitry. Location of this on-site service will be the Naval Aviation Depot, Naval Air Station, North Island, San Diego, CA 92135. Small business contractors that have current experience in performing this type of service repair and maintenance are encouraged to submit a request for a copy of the solicitation (RFQ) when it becomes available. Requests for a copy of the RFQ must be received by 3:00 PM, PST, on November 28, 1997.
