There are (18) units to be demolished which include asbestos abatement. The replacement units consist of 12 three-bedroom family units (6 duplexes) and 7 four-bedroom family housing units. Work includes handling chlordane-containing soil, utility connects for the new units, street lighting and replacing above ground electrical service with underground service. The community improvements include upgrading and replacing storm drainage; lighting for streets and paths; install privacy screens approximately 109 units; construction of parking, paths, playground, recreation areas, and gas main with regulator/meter; and replace perimeter fence with cast concrete wall with brick trim.
