Environmental Protection Agency anticipates the award of a firm-fixed price contract to provide all labor, materials, equipment and services for a Contractor to renovate selected laboratory rooms and upgrade of the existing HVAC system at the Ecosystem Research Division of the National Exposure Laboratory Athens, Georgia. This is an existing laboratory building with a total area of approximately 45,000 GSF. The work will include the construction of new walls, floor surfaces, doors, ceilings, laboratory equipment, laboratory gases, plumbing, electrical services, ventilation, and laboratory fume hood ventilation control systems. Renovations of the HVAC system including selected demolition of piping, ductwork and air handlers, and the installation of a new rooftop single air handling unit, and new DDC control system and a new VAV ventilation systems. The project is estimated between $1,000,000.00 and $2,000,000.00.
