modification to RFQ No. S-FSIAQ-98-Q-0025 (Foreign Affairs Leadership
Seminar) hereby extends the closing date to Tuesday, Nov. 25, at 2:00
p.m. FAR Clause 52.215-10 (Late Submissions, Modifications, and
Withdrawals of Proposals (JUN 1997) is incorporated into this RFQ.
Quotations are due by 2:00 p.m. on November 25, 1997, in Room 2131F,
Office of Acquisitions (ACQ), FSI, 4000 Arlington Boulevard, Arlington,
VA 22204. Late quotations will not be considered. ACQ will accept only
hard copies of quotations (either mailed or hand-delivered); no faxed
quotations -- repeat no faxed quotations -- will be accepted. Answers
are provided to the following questions: (1) Q: Will the government or
the vendor pay for accommodations/food for each 11-day session at the
offsite? A: The government will pay for accommodations/food for each
11-day session (Vendor does not repeat not need to include this in
price quote); (2) Q: Can you elaborate on outdoor training? A: Outdoor
training is a low-levelphysical challenge where participants must
engage in problem-solving activities (it will be working with ropes,
boards, cinderblocks, etc.); (3) Q: Will the on-day trainers meetings
prior to start-up be separate or back-to-back? A: There will be a
on-day trainer s meeting at FSI within a two-week period prior to
start-up of each course delivery (Vender should include
travel/transportation costs (if any) to/from FSI in price quote for
these two meetings). All other information publicized in the original
