28 -- REFURBISHMENT OF TF34 NOZZLE SEGMENTS SOL N68836-97-R-0061 DUE 123097 POC Point of Contact -- Contact Point, Victoria West, code 210.86, (904) 542-1253, Fax (904)542-1098 The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Jacksonville, Florida intends to negotiate a contract for the refurbishment of TF34 Nozzle Segments with General Electric Company, Cincinati, Ohio and Chromalloy Corporation, Midwest City, Oklahoma. The Stage 1 Turbine Nozzle Segments are components of the TF34 Engine used in the S-3 aircraft. The TF34 engines were originally manufactured by General Electric Company. The proposed contract is for a period of one-year with a one-year option. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement and submit proposals detailing their technical knowledge and capability in the refurbishing of the specified items. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely withinthe discretion of the Government.
