Department, Bureau for International Narcotics and Law Enforcement
Affairs, has a requirement for an individual to provide Supervisory
Field/Security Advisor services at the American Embassy, Narcotics
Affairs Section (NAS), in Lima, Peru. The purpose of this position is
to assist the NAS in the design and implementation of the narcotics
control aviation support program in cooperation with counter- part host
country agencies of the Government of Peru. The assignment is for one
year with the option to extend the term. PSCs are treated on par with
other USG employees. The grade level range is GS 12/13. Minimum
qualifications include: Bachelor's Degree (security, criminal justice,
or related field) and five years related experience in the military or
law enforcement, including assets protection, security management, and
training and training management or secondary school completion and
ten years related experience; three years relevant overseas experience;
ability to communication in Spanish at the S3/R3 level. SA-171 required
