International Narcotics and Law Enforce- ment Affairs, has a
requirement for an individual to provide Aviation Advisory Services at
the American Embassy, Narcotics Affairs Section (NAS), in Lima, Peru.
The purpose of this position is to assist the NAS in the design and
implementation of the narcotics control aviation support program in
cooperation with counterpart host country agencies of the Government of
Peru. The assignment is for one year with the option to extend the
term. PSCs are treated on par with other USG employees. The grade level
range is GS 13/14. Minium qualifications include: Bachelor's degree or
Associates Degree with five years relevant experi- ence or 10 years
relevant experience; three years overseas relevant experience,
especially in the area of program management pertaining to field
service, helicopter and crop/utility type aircraft; 3,000 hours total
flight time; 1,000 hours multi-engine; 500 hours turbine; 1,000 hours
flight instruction; current FAA Class II medical certificate; current
FAA commerical pilot license with single engine and multiple engine
land and instrument rating; current FAA fixed-wing instructor pilot
license; ability to communicate in Spanish (FSI level S3/R3). SF-171
