V -- COMMERCIAL TRAVEL OFFICE SERVICE SOL F16602-98-R0006 DUE 121997 POC Mrs Donna Hensel, 318/456-6941; Mrs Betty Stalder, 318/456-6890 Contractor to provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items or services necessary to perform the management and operation of commercial travel offices (CTO) at Barksdale AFB LA and Dyess AFB TX to include a full range of commercial travel reservation and ticketing services. It is anticipated that the contract will have a basic two-year period plus six six-month option periods. Offerors will propose an air travel discount percentage fee for Appropriated Fund (APF) official travel, an air travel discount percentage fee for Nonappropriated Fund Instrumentality (NAFI) official travel, a sales concession fee for leisure travel including leisure sold in conjunction with official travel, and a sales concession fee for leisure travel. Extensive automated management reports, total and direct access to Commercial Reservation Systems, and computer software and hardware to interface with government systems will be required as part of this acquisition. The offeror will be required to have sufficient financial capability, capital and cash flow to carry the government accounts receivable for at least 30 days from government receipt of proper invoice. The applicable SIC code and small business size standard for this acquisition are 4724 and $1 million. Estimated start date is 1 April 1998.
