U -- HOMEWORK INSTRUCTOR AGES 6-12 SOL DADW39-98-Q-0002 DUE 111097 POC Contract Specialist, Emma Powell, 703-806-4466, Contracting Officer, Gloris Daws, 703-806-4607 The Military District of Washington Acquisition Center, Fort Belvoir, Virginia intends to contract for a part-time Homework Instructor for the Fort Hamilton Army Youth Center Fort Hamilton Army Post, Brooklyn, NY. Contractor shall implement a homework center program on the installation. Contractor shall provide after-school assistance to students ages 6-12, in strengthening their academic and learning skills of the military and the Department of Defense. Contractor must be a certified teacher, expertise in math, science and language (communication) skills. The contractor shall work Monday through Friday between the hours of 3:00 p.m. thru 6:00 p.m. Contractor knowledge of computers will be helpful. Minimum of 30 Students, 2 hours a day after school. Contractor shall provide a qualified substitute instructor when unable to instruct. Contractor shall provide a qualified substitute instructor when uable to instruct. Contractor is responsible for paying all substitutes and substitutes must be approved by the Authorized Government Representative. Estimated Performance November 1997 through September 30, 1998.
