Burton, Contracting Officer, 214/767-3492 Work is as follows: Develop an interactive, multimedia training module to address basic laboratory safety incorporating those work practices common in preventing exposures to biohazards, hazardous chemicals and radioactive materials for the Federal Occupational Health Program (FOH), as related to services being performed by FOH for the National Institutes of Health (NIH)Division of Safety. This training module is intended for use in teaching fundamental laboratory safety and health at NIH, before taking training specifically required prior to work with blood-borne pathogens or radioactive materials. It should be considered a "primer" in basic laboratory safety and health and lend itself to being "built upon" in later discipline-specific courses. Both OSHA Laboratory Standard and Hazard Communications training requirements should be met by the required multimedia product.
