Pittinger (719)333-4908 The USAF Academy, CO has a requirement for carpet cleaning services at U.S. Air Force Academy, Colorado. The contractor shall provide carpet cleaning services, necessary and required for the following government estimated quantities. The contractors total for each Clin should be based on the "estimated government quantities and descriptions" listed below; clean by hot water extraction 155,000 square yards; apply soil retardant to carpet 155,000 square yards; apply static proofing to carpet 77,500 square yards; clean by dry cleaning method 3,500 square yards; stair cleaning 65 each; emergency cleaning 6 ea.; work delay 15 man hours, all in accordance and in compliance with Carpet Cleaning Standard IICRC S001. The resulting contract shall be for a basic period and four, one year option periods. Approximately 50% of the services will be performed between the hours of 7:30 A.M. and 5:00 P.M. Monday through Friday and the remaining 50% will be accomplished at night and on weekends. The Contractor's total cost shall include all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and all other items and services necessary to perform carpet cleaning services at the USAF Academy. Individual duties include: Carpet Cleaning of buildings and facilities at the Air Force Academy, including Military Family Housing Quarters; All required services will occur between 01 Oct and 30 Sep of each contract period, with exception to the basic year.
