To provide all personnel, training, and supervision for the maintenance and operation of the ESS facility to include the "Mutes, Trains, Seek Score, and Route Integration Instrumentation System (RIIS)" systems. Management of the ESS and the existing Claiborne Range will be combined. Work at the Claiborne Range consist of providing all personnel, equipment training tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to perform maintenance, clearance, operations and administrative services at the Range. This includes scoring of air to ground, acoustiscore, simulated laser target and other targets. The proposed requirement is for one year with four options years. Estimated magnitude of contract will be 1M to 2M per year. Interested companies should submit a brief description that qualifies with the above descripition no later than 15 Nov 1997. Woman-owned and small disadvantaged businesses are encouraged to respond. Joint ventures and teaming arrangements are encouraged if needed to meet the requirements. This is a stand-alone (sources sought) announcement. There are no RFP's being prepared at this point. All submittals received will be reviewed and the information received, and the technologies identified may be considered for incorporation in future draft (if any) and final Requests for Proposals (if any are issued). This is a request for information only and is not to be considered as a commitment of the Government. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information.
