The Volpe Center has a requirement for a task order contract to provide engineering support and data in the general technical area of Structures and Mechanics. Tasks may include some or all of the following areas: Service load definition; Analysis of structural systems and assemblies; Stress, mechanics and failure analysis of components; Laboratory mechanical test support; Experiment design development and conduct of field tests; and Risk assessment, analysis and management of transportation structures. A CPFF task order type contract is anticipated for four (4) year effort. The applicable SIC Code is 8731.
