The Corps of Engineers, Pittsburgh District, is interested in procuring a Historical Engineering Study of the locks and dams of the Monongahela River Navigation System. The Monongahela River Navigation Systems is defined to include all structures, past and present, constructed for navigation improvement by the Monongahela Navigation Company or the Army Corps of Engineers on the river from its mouth at the Point in Pittsburgh, PA to its head at Fairmont, WV. The contractor will be responsible for research, technological engineering resource identification, historical engineering evaluation and reporting. Completed draft reports shall be required within ten months from the date of the notice to proceed. Final reports shall be required within 30 calendar days following receipt of all District review comments. This requirement is being procured under simplified acquisition procedures.
