Nevada Corporation is seeking sources and information on a Year 2000
compliant, commercial off the shelf (COTS) client/server architectured
system. The system data should reside in a oracle based relational
database management system. The current system captures time and
attendance data for a multi-company operation located in several
locations within Nevada, working modified or alternative shifts, and at
various remote sites located in other states. It is expected the
majority of employees enter their own time on a daily basis. All
employees are paid weekly The system should provide the capability for
employees to charge their labor to a multitude of different financial
charge numbers and capture additional cost recovery data. The charge
numbers are validated at data entry time. The software should provide
activity audit trails, maintain history by pay period, provide the
ability to close the system at the end of the pay week, ability to
select records to be processed by week ending date, so as not to pick
up records already processed or future records, allow for the input of
both hours and/or dollars for adjustments which include additions,
subtractions, and error corrections to current and prior pay periods,
input by proxy, multi-tier approval process, personnel can change their
time until it is approved, provide standard timekeeping reports and a
report generator to create customized reports on an ad hoc basis,
provide parametric diagnostics by validating employee ID, job numbers,
vacation and sick time against accrual banks, earnings codes, employee
belonging to special work group or location, other policies, etc., and
monitor, track and report missing entry of time or time not approved.

literature which provides sufficient detail to enable preliminary
