(Site Code DACW68) This solicitation is open to all businesses regardless of size. There are six 18-inch diameter steel pipe dolphins at the barge moorage facility at Lower Monumental Dam. The vertical dolphins are filled with concrete and set approximately 10 feet into bedrock. The tops of four dolphins are approximately 10 to 15 feet underwater. The tops of two dolphins are approximately 15 feet above the surface of the river. From the top of each dolphin a hole must be drilled the full lenght of each dolphin and approximately 25 feet into bedrock. Rock anchors must be installed in the holes, bottom of anchors grouted, anchors tensioned, and the remainder of the anchors grouted. The tops of the tensioned anchors must then be encased in concrete. Two rock anchors are approximately 80 feet long and four anchors are approximately 60 feet long. Underwater diving work will be required. Estimated cost is between $100,000 and $250,000.
