ADPA/NSIA PRESENTATIONS, DISCUSSIONS AND FORUM ON ELECTRONIC SYSTEMS CENTER ACQUISITION POLICY, PROCESS AND ISSUES The New England Yankee Chapter of ADPA/NSIA is sponsoring a series of several presentations, discussions, and a forum on Electronic Systems Center (ESC) Acquisition Policy, Process and Issues. The first session will be a presentation by Col. Tom Mahler, Director, Acquisition Development Office (ADO) and Linda Rose of MITRE, assigned to the ADO, covering the following subjects: (1) New processes -- Approach to acquisition, evolutionary acquisition, spiral development, the ADO, contract vehicles, how the process should operate and (2) Relationship with Industry: What it means to ESC, What it means to Industry, Interaction between ESC and Industry, how should it operate for mutual success? While the new ESC structure will be part of this presentation, the emphasis will be on the interaction of ESC and Industry, now and in the future. The session will be held in the Hanscom Air Force Base Officer's Club Ballroom on Wednesday, 29 Oct. 97, from 1 PM to 5 PM. Companies are invited to send no more than three (3) representatives each.
