Provide personnel, vehicles, equipment, supplies, services and materials to move furnishings and equipment from thirteen (13) activities into Waller Hall, Building 2140, Fort Lewis, Washington. Services include padding, packing, and crating, as appropriate, for safe transport of property from its present location to the new location; unpacking and uncrating as required; placement of the property in the new location as specified by the Activity Representatives; removal of padding, packing and crating materials from the premises, and other services that are required to meet the requirements of the contract. Weight of total furnishings and equipment to be moved by contractor is approx 145,014 lbs. Special lifting devices/equipment will be needed to lift three safes. Telephonic requests are not accepted. The proposed procurement listed here is being considered for 100 percent set-aside for small business (SB) concerns. Interested SB concerns should, as early as possible but not later than the 14th of October, indicate interest in the acquisition by providing to the Contracting Office above, evidence of capability to perform. If adequate interest is not received from SB concerns, the quote will be issued as unrestricted without further notice. Therefore, replies to this notice are requested from all business concerns, as well as from SB concerns. Concern means any business entity organized for profit with a place of business located in the United States, including, but not limited to an individual, partnership, corporation, joint venture, association, or cooperative.
