The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport has a requirement to establish a contractor managed Pager Rental/Service Program to deliver pagers at various locations within the Command. The system must be cost effective, efficient, responsive to customer needs and "paperless". The system must provide for delivery of pagers within (1) day of the order and provide replacement of defective pagers within the same timeframe. In addition, the contractor shall prepare ordering documents from electronically transmitted data, prepare any necessary shipping documents and invoices, record and maintain a system that tracks the quantity of pagers ordered by type, end user, code, period of rental and deliver periodic management reports summarizing the above, and lastly familiarize end users on pager use. Orders will be placed by telephone, fax or electronic means. Payment of the orders will be made by the government purchase credit card. It is anticipated that this requirement will be for a period of one (1) year with two one-year options. This requirement is not set-aside for small businesses. SIC Code 4813.
