This corrected copy is being issued to identify the FAR citation (52.211-7) applicable to the provision "Former Government Surplus Property." The citation at 52.211-7 was inadvertently omitted from the initial submission to the Commerce Business Daily. In accordance with FAR 12.603(c)(4), the original combined synopsis/solicitation for this requirement is hereby modified as follows. The classification code is changed from 39, Materials handling equipment, to 23, Ground effects vehicles, motor vehicles, trailers and cycles. The requirement of a minimum of four firing lanes is changed to a minimum of two firing lanes and a maximum of four firing lanes. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and no addenda applies. Offerors providing other than new material are required to comply with the clause FAR 52.211-5, New Material, the provision, FAR 52.211-6, Listing of Other Than New Material, Residual Inventory, and Former Government Surplus Property, FAR 52.211-7. The time and date set for receipt of proposals or facsimile proposals is hereby changed from 18 September 1997, 3:00 P.M. Pacific Daylight Time, to 29 September 1997, 3:00 P.M. Pacific Daylight Time.
