Liquid Hydrogen (LH2), West Coast Destinations -- NASA/KSC plans to issue an Invitation for Bid for Liquid Hydrogen that conforms to MIL-PRF-27201C, Type II, Liquid Hydrogen, dated December 22, 1995. The government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR PART 12. The anticipated release date of IFB 10-98-0002 is on or about, October 15, 1997 with bids due October 31, 1997. The contract period of performance will be for five years, including options beginning January 1998. Best estimated quantities will be provided in the solicitation. The resultant contract will be a fixed-price, requirements type contract with delivery orders placed for specific requirements at each destination. The West Coast delivery locations (F.O.B.
