This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Federal Bureau of Investigation intends to negotiate with Inficon, Inc., on a sole source basis, for the purchase of one each of Part no. HAP-11022 including HAPSITE, service module, hand control unit, laptop computer with software and NIST library, ship kit including AC-24VDC adapter and battery charger. Other items to be purchased are two each of Part no. 930-422-G1 additional battery pack, two each of Part no. 930-464-P1 HAPSITE shipping case, one each of Part no. 930-425-P1 NEG pump, one each of Part no. 930-432-P6 Carrier gas canisters(6 ea.), one each of Part no. 930-433-P6 internal standards gas canister (6 ea.), one each of Part no. 930-466-P1 HAPSITE backpack, and one each of Part no. HAP-1000 OnSite operator training. These items will be delivered to the Federal Bureau of Investigation office located in Quantico, Virginia 22135. This will be a firm-fixed price contract. This solicitation document, incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 90-46. The proposed procurement will be conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) for other than maximum competition. This is a small business-small purchase set-aside. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) 3826, and the size standard is based on employees numbering less than 500.
