The project consists of, but is not limited to, providing all material, labor, tools and equipment for The U.S. Marshal's Office Renovation and Expansion, with New Fitness Center at the Federal Building/U.S. Courthouse in Tyler, TX. Estimated cost of the project is between $500,000 and $700,000. Completion is 100 calendar days from issuance of notice to proceed. No information will be released after proposal opening until a contract is awarded. There will be no public opening of offers. Only the following prequalified contractors will received a copy of the solicitation and drawings and be allowed to submit an offer: (1) Rey-Bach, Inc., P.O. General Bruce Drive, Temple, TX 76504. Subcontractors are requested to contact the prequalified contractors listed above. Contractors who are classified as small business (no additional large business will be considered at this time) and is not on the prequalified list for U.S. Marshals Service (USMS), GSA, Greater Southwest Region, procurements may obtain a preqalification package by FAX to Kathey K. Thury, Contracting Officer, (817) 978-6155 (FAX). Prequalification is dependent upon the firms past performance/experience on Level 6 detention/security projects. Once the contractor's prequalification package has been submitted and reviewed by the USMS team of Project Managers and Contracting Officers, and if approved, the firm will be added to the list.
