THIS ACQUISITION IS SET-ASIDE FOR A COMPETITIVE 8(a). This acquisition is assigned number 7700-96-606290. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code for the acquisition is changed from 8744(a) Facilities Management TO 8744(b) Base Maintenance. The small business size standard for this project is changed from $5 million TO $20 million. Offerors will be required to meet the minimum Contractor's experience as follows: The Contractor shall or Senior management staff to include on-site project manager have as a minimum, three to four years experiences in facilities maintenance. Facilities maintenance equivalent to total operation, inspection, maintenance and repair for a full service medical treatment facility providing not less than 100 bed inpatient bed capacity and the total square footage of not less than $350,000 square feet. Experiences include operation of high pressured boiler system in excess of 500 horse power per boiler and 1500 tons of chiller capacity. The Contractor shall as a minimum be familiar with Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) and the criteria for Environment of Care applicable to the physical facility.
