Z -- MAINTENANCE/REPAIR/ALTERATION OF REAL PROPERTY SOL IFB 618-50-98 DUE 103197 POC Daniel Agrimson 612-725-2178 Provide all labor, materials, and equipment required to modify/repair steam and water coils and distribution systems throughout Bldg 70, Minneapolis VAMC in accordance with plans and specifications to include: (1) Replace four well water pre-cooling coils in unit 19 in kind to include repair of pipe insulation, leak test and clean up. (2) Retrofit steam coils inunits 1, 19, 38, and 49-1 to include lower header(s), tubing to within 6"-12" of top headers and miscellaneous accessories. (3) Provide steam pressure powered condensate pumps for units 1 and 49-1. (4) Provide flexible connections on all air handling units with steam coils, 50 each. (5) Modify condesate piping on units 4, 19, 33, 38, and 45 to assure proper condensate drainage. Site walk is scheduled for October 15, 1997 at 9:00 a.m., local standard time, at the Minneapolis VAMC, One Veterans Drive in Room 4G107. Failure to tour the job site will not relieve the successful bidder to whom the contract is awarded from performing all work. Request bid documents in writing or by fax at 612-725-2178.
