Pursuant to FAR Subpart 5.203(a) and FAR Subpart 13.6, the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) will solicit NIDA Corporation for the following training equipment: 105 units of Model 130A Test Console, PN 99920130; 40 units of Model 1401 DC Card Set, PN 99901401; 40 units of Model 1402 AC Card Set, PN 99901402; 40 units of Model 1403 Analog Card Set, PN 99901403; 105 units of Cable Assembly, RJ11-RJ11, 15 ft, PN 91000162; 5 units of Amplifier, Repeater with Power Supply, PN 99939130. NUWCDIVNPT requires the training equipment to upgrade NIDA Corporation training equipment at Fleet ASW Training Center (FLTASWTRACENPAC). This equipment is standard throughout the U.S. Navy for ratings requiring electronics skills. The upgrade will allow existing inventory of proprietary NIDA card sets to be retained and reused, a savings to the Government. Further, electronics training at FLTASWTRACENPAC must be compatible with other Navy electronics training programs using NIDA Corporation's training equipment. Delivery shall be F.O.B. Destination FLTASWTRACENPAC. NIDA will be solicited orally; anticipated award date is 26 September 1997. (0260)
