62012049@eln.attmail.com. 1. Sources are sought for a gasoline engine
driven centrifugal pump unit to be used for dewatering distressed
ships and craft. Complete pump units must have a dry weight less than
62 lbs. and not exceed 19.5 x 17.5 x 19.5 inches, LxWxH. Pump units
must be self-priming and demonstrate performance of 250 GPM at a 20
foot suction lift and a minimum discharge pressure of 20 PSI. Pump
units must be corrosion resistant to withstand the rigors of the marine
environment. Pump unit must have a protective roll cage with mounting
pads suitable for operation on inclined surfaces. Roll cage must
provide means for handling, lifting, and transporting the pump unit.
The pump end must be self draining and have color coded quick
disconnect fittings. The engine must be air colled and have a primary
and secondary manual starting method. The engine must be able to
operate in ambient temperatures between 15 and 140 deegrees F in heavy
weather and meet current and 1998 EPA and CARB emission standards
using 83 octane oxygenated gasoline. The engine must have a dry exhaust
that discharges away from the operator and is shielded to prevent a
burn hazard to the operator. The engine must have a vented fuel tank
that is engine or cage mounted with a quick disconnect fitting for
changing fuel tanks without stopping the engine. Fuel tanks must have
a fuel level indicator. The government is interested in existing
equipment which can meet the above requirements. The government will
not compensate any source for the cost incurred in developing and
producing submitted material. Information (existing literature,
brochures, pamphlets, specifications, etc.) submitted should be
pertinent and specific in the technical area under consideration and
appropriately marked if proprietary or restricted. Submit information

disadvantaged business enterprises to acquire short-term working captal
assistance for transporation-related contracts. Loans are available
under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest
reates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of
