Higginbotham (205) 235-7748 (Site Code DAAC01) Furnish all labor, equipment and material to remove the old crane rail and install the new crane rail. The existing crane rails shall be taken down and cut into sections of no longer than 10 feet and then stacked up in a location at Building 400 designated by the Contracting Officer. There shall be 6 runways approximately 850 feet long and 80 pound rail shall be THERMITE WELDED. Rails shall be all new 80# A.S.C.E.(American Society of Civil Engineers). Rails shall be Grade No. 1 prime, and 39'lengths. No rail will be accepted which is more than eighteen months old. Track bolts and spring washers shall be all new and conform to ANSI B.18.10. 12 each. Crane rails are to be replaced at Anniston Army Depot, Anniston, AL 36201-4199 within 240 days after contract award. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered.
