Solicitation number 97T0831 is being issued as a request for quote (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-01. Award for this solicitation falls under the $5 million threshold and will be made using the Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This is a small business set-aside. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 7372, and the size standard, based on annual receipts, is less than $14.5 million. HQ SSG/PKT seeks quotes for MSM-UNIX version 4.3.2, an application program needed to run Santa Cruz Operating System (SCO) version 5.0. Provide unit pricing for the quantity of 100 each. Delivery is required 30 days from award. In accordance with the provision at FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items, the government will award a purchase order resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, will be the most advantageous to the government with the lowest price.
