70 -- COMMUNICATION HARDWARE MAINTENANCE CONTRACT SOL N00168-98-Q-N301 DUE 092397 POC Ms. Tracy Holland Contracting Officer (301) 295-6490 The National Naval Medical Center intends to award a sole sourced maintenance contract with Cabletron Systems, Inc for the period of 01 Oct 97 through 30 Sept 98. Service shall include telephone technical support, firmware upgrades and on-site engineering response. This will enable continued support of the CHCS/LAN/MED-OA (Composite Healthcare System/Local Area Network/ Medical Office Automation) systems. Cabletron Systems is the manufacturer of the communications signal repeaters. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No telephone calls will be accepted.
