This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. OFFERS ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Current solicitation numbers are F41614-97-Q0813 (10, 486 Units), 97-Q0846 (31, 486 Units), and 97Q0889 (40, 486 Units). Responses/offers are due by COB Sept 22, 1997 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Regulation July 1997 Reprint and FAC 90-46. This procurement is open to large and small businesses. The Government intends to award a Purchase Order. The contract will provide supplies, personnel, equipment, tools, and other items required to upgrade computer systems as specified in the CLINS. The Government seeks to upgrade current Zenith 100 Select, 386DX, 486SX and 510 computers. OPTION TWO: CLIN 0001, Upgrade 10, Z-486 Units, to a minimum: Pentium 133 MHZ, 16 MB RAM, 1 MB Video RAM, 1 GB HD, 16 bit ethernet card: CLIN 0002, Upgrade 31, Z-486 Units, to a minimum: Pentium 133 MHZ, 16 MB RAM, 1 MB Video RAM, 1 GB HD: CLIN 0003, Upgrade 40, Z-486 Units, to a minimum: Pentium 133 MHZ, 16 MB Ram, 2 MB Video RAM, 1 GB HD, ethernet card 10-100 mg bit (selectable) for RJ-45 connection. The above is the minimum upgrades, indicate options to above, such as Pentium 166 or 200, 32 MB RAM, 2 MB video RAM where not already indicated and 2.0/2.1 GB HD. All components must fit in current case. All upgrades must be Energy Star Compliant and be able to fit in current case. State period of on-site warranty and price extended warranty options. State if performance is on-site or off site. Sliding scale pricing is requested based on quantities of systems/components to be utilized. Indicate projected delivery/start of installation date upon receipt of order and estimated number of days for all installations.
