Fisher (310) 725-7550 The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Western-Pacific Region, is seeking potential sources to install raised floor tiles and relocate the existing NARACS equipment in the control wing basement of the Los Angeles Air Route Traffic Control Center (ARTCC) located in Palmdale, CA. Work includes but is not limited to the following: Relocation of the existing NARACS shielded enclosure including antenna cables, control wiring, power circuits and associate NARACS equipment (communication equipment and exterior control console), asbestos abatement of AHU-120 and associated piping and removal of vinyl asbestos tile and asbestos contaminated mastic, and installation of new computer raised floor system (Government furnished materials), power panels and temporary walls. The performance period is 120 days and the estimated price range is between $350,000 to $400,000.00. The SIC is 1752. If you have demonstrated successful past performance with contracts of similar size and nature and possess the necessary business/technical, bonding, and financial capability to successfully complete a contract of this nature. This notice BELOW is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), has programs to assist minority, women-owned and disadvantaged business enterprises to acquire short-term working capital and bonding assistance for transportation-related contracts. This is applicable to any eligible prime or subcontract at any tier. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid, payment, and performance bonds up to 1.0 million per contract. The DOT provides an 80 percent quaranty on the bond amount to a surety against losses. Loans are also available under the DOT Short Term Lending Programs (STLP), at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
