dw90u@nih.gov. The National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal
and Skin Diseases (NIAMS) is seeking an organization to provide
technical, logistic and administrative support for the operations of
the National Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases
Information Clearinghouse (NAMSIC). Support services to be provided by
the Contractor include: 1) management and planning; 2) inquiry and
mailing services; 3) materials development; 4) database development,
maintenance, and searches; 5) support for interactive information
systems; 6) communications research and evaluation; 7) outreach and
promotion; 8) conference support; 9) graphic design, production and
reproduction services; as well as 10) warehouse and other facilities.
It is anticipated that one cost reimbursement, level of effort, type
contract will be awarded for a period of five years beginning on or
about July 1, 1998. It is estimated that 15,338 direct labor hours per
year will be required for this project over the five year period of
performance.This acquisition is a 100% small business set aside. The
SIC Code is 8741 ($5 million in annual receipts over the last three
fiscal years). RFP NIH-NIAMS-98-1 will be issued on or about September
30, 1997. Proposals will be due 45 days after the date of issuance of
the solicitation. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which
will be considered by the Government. THE SOLICITATION WILL BE
AVAILABLE ELECTRONICALLY as well as in hard copy. Electronically, it
will be available on the following Web site:

be available at this Web site no sooner than fifteen calendar days
after the issuance of this synopsis. OFFERORS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR
ROUTINELY CHECKING THE WEB SITE FOR ANY POSSIBLE SOLICITATION
AMENDMENTS THAT MAY BE ISSUED. Since a limited number of hard copies
will be printed, requests will be filled on a first-come, first-served
basis, until the supply is exhausted. This advertisement does not
