628-4660 This is a solicitation for commercial materials prepared in
accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with
additional information included in the notice. Proposals are being
requested and a written solicitation will be issued upon request. This
is a request for quotation (RFQ) number DTCG80-97-Q-3FA918. This
solicitation document will incorporate provisions and clauses that are
in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-45. The standard
industrial classification code is 3731 and the size standard is 500
employees. The requirement is for the following: For the Contractor to
provide all, tools, equipment, and materials required to deliver and
install three (03) each of item number one (01): part no.
1620-684-12-1613 Spinner II Centrifugal Oil Cleaning System and two
(02) each of item number two(02): part no. 1920-684-12-1613 Spinner II
Centrifugal Oil Cleaning System. One of item number (01) will be
installed on board CGC Reliance (WMEC-615) located at Portsmouth Naval
Ship Yard in Portsmouth, NH. One of item number and one of item number
(02) will be installed on board CGC Courageous (WMEC-622) located in
Panama City, FL and finally One of item number (01) and item number
(02) will be installed on board CGC Venturous (WMEC-625) located in St.
Petersburg, FL. Performance period is 30 September 1997. Vessel POC for

Courageous will be LT Wood at (904) 233-311. POC for CGC Venturous will

this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to
the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, price
and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to
