Services: Engineering, technical, installation and program support for
the Fleet Technical Support Center, Atlantic (FTSCLANT), Norfolk, VA.
Typical tasks may be: Maintenance & repair support, Reliability
engineering support, Installation support, Logistics support, Quality
assurance support, and Computer hardware & software support for
shipboard hull, mechanical, electrical (HM&E) and combat systems
equipment. It is anticipated that the level of effort estimated during
the term of the contract will be 2,663,500 man-hours. The Government
intends to negotate an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity type
contract with cost plus fixed fee provisions for a base year and
four-one year options. This requirement will be issued under full and
open competition procedures. FAR clause 52.217-08, Option to Extend
Services, will be incorporated into the solicitation/contract. All
responsible offerors may submit an offer which shall be considered by
the agency. Written or facsimile requests will be accepted. Requests
for the solicitation must state that neither the requestor nor
principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended,
debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive a contract from any
Federal agency. Failure to so represent, will be grounds for refusing
